Microsoft laptops are all set to Rule the Realm
After making people follow them on PC with Windows and dominating smartphone market, Microsoft has introduced its first ever laptop, namely Surface Book. The publication of the Surface Book was a big surprise, because this is not a tablet that can transform into a laptop, connecting a keyboard, but it is a laptop with a detachable keyboard. Surface Book was soon followed by Surface Book Pro and it is just the beginning of Microsoft laptops surfacing the market.
Designs and Displays
Microsoft Laptops are not typical laptops, instead their design was inspired by 2-in-1 convertible Microsoft tablets, but the manufacturer managed to find a balance between the portion of the tablet and keyboard, so they have similar weights. The two body parts of Microsoft Laptops are joined by the special hinge on the keyboard, which has some wire locks. Its function is to connect the keyboard to the side of the tablet. It is interesting that the device, such as a laptop, can last up to 12 hours, but that's because the keyboard has its own battery.
As for the screen of Surface Book, it measures 13.5 inches and supports a resolution of 3000x2000 pixels 267ppi. While the Surface Pro 4 has a screen measuring almost bezel least 12.3 inches, but the screen size can be changed thanks to this new technology that is similar to the one used in Dell XPS 13.
Microsoft Laptops are using the latest dual-core processors Intel Core Skylake and have a variant that uses i5-6300U clocked at 2.4 GHz CPU, whose speed can be increased to 3 GHz and is supported by Intel HD graphics 520. The book surface has another variant with a processor clock frequency i7-6600U 2.6GHz, but can be increased up to 3.4 GHz and is compatible with the same graphics. Microsoft offers memory options 8 or 16 GB variants 3 LPDDR RAM and storage are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, depending on the configuration.
